Hello,
come sono stato chiesto di mostrare alcuni degli automobili, quello che ho costruito qui sono. Come potete vederli gradire i nascars americani.

il livery è inventato, nessun del questo automobili ha esistito in realtà. tutte le domande, chiedono prego.

Thank you, Homer, for your explanation about PVC. In '80 I used similar aluminium double T beam, thickness 1,5 mm, filed and glued with epoxy. It was good, also with Mura gr 12 engine, but I loose these works.

Grazie, Homer, per la tua spiegazione sul PVC. Negli anni '80 usavo gli stessi profili ma in alluminio a doppio T, spessore 1,5 mm, limati e incollati con l'epossidico. Non erano male anche coi Mura 12 ma purtroppo gli esemplari sono andati persi.
Oh, Ganko! Bentornato tra noi! Ma se mi dici "plastilina" penso alla plastilina da modellare non alla plastica rigida.

Hello Louboyle,
the chassis material is not styrene but PVC. This is stronger than styrene and can also be glued with plastic glue (not every plastic glue will work good on PVC). You can also screw it together.
this chassis is made from T and U shaped profiles and consists of only 5 parts.

that is a 1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner. You could try something like this:
First is the 1956 Ford Convertible of Curtis Turner (25 wins in one season-most in NASCAR History). Second one is the Ford Fairlane raced in the 1956 Nascar series by Glen Wood.

E' delicato perciò si taglia e si fora facilmente ma incollando due spessori nei punti critici si va ad ottenere anche una discreta rigidità. E' proprio una bella idea, veramente. ok, i will share my secrets.
the decals (they are 1/43) are manufatured by Carpena. But I think, they are no longer available. A good source for this decals is this: http://www.slotcars4u.net/darkside.html
The wheels and tyres of the Chevy Bel Air are from a Carrera Superbird. This is the chassis and the material i built it from:
The GTO No. 11 has the same wheels and a similar chassis:
The decals of this car are from MRE. The same decals i used for this one:
this was a Carrera Plymouth Superbird.
