Novità tecniche
During 2020, car after car, we are introducing a connector in all our models. It took us some time to choose the proper connector but we think to have found a good one.
Digital is becoming more and more important and we're trying to make it easier for our customers.
All our digital chips will come, starting later this year, with the same connectors that you will find on the model cars, so that conversion to the supported digital systems may be made without soldering.
Our universal type C1 chip (O201c1), and the two specialized chips for Scalextric Sport Digital (SP15), and now for Carrera D132 (SP43 to be released in May or June, we believe) also share the same form and since a couple of years ago all our new car models, bar Policar F1, are designed to be easily fitted with the chips.
The common shape can also fit inside our custom plug-and-play lid for Scalextric cars (O201c-S04).
Soon to be announced: SP45, SP46 (inverting cable for D132), SP43 (D132 digital chip)
