Dear sirs,
After numerous efforts, inconvenience, adversities and all sorts of problems, today we've finally made a dream, born as manufacturers (although modest and artisans), under the brand Modelant with a model of much historical importance to be considered as the first Ferrari in the history, reproduced only ready to run at 1/32 scale in high quality resin, and that we show with all our illusion. In 1940 Enzo Ferrari, after leaving Alfa Romeo, created in just five months a small spider in his old workshop in Modena, commissioned by Lothario Rangoni Marquis and the driver Antonio Ascari’s son, Alberto, under the name Auto Avio Costruzioni due to the terms of its still existing contract with Alfa Romeo that made Enzo impossible to use his name on his own. Considering this, the Auto Avio is considered by all historians as the first Ferrari ever built. We recommend complete reading of the interesting history of this car: www.modelant.com
The car piloted by Alberto Ascari in the 1940 Mille Miglia is the one we reproduced in Modelant, in which we applied our philosophy to create a slot car purely handmade. Designed from photographs and drawings, modeled strictly 1/32 scale from a block of putty using only hand tools, escaping from computer assists or industrial machinery, and manufactured in a traditional way, one by one, by hand.
Our replica wished to be accurate to the original model created by Enzo Ferrari in 1940, which is why sometimes you can find some differences with photographs of current restoration, such as the inclusion of a rearview mirror, front intermittent and rear lights or front and rear license plate needed to comply with current driving rules, as well as the logo '815', originally nonexistent.
For mechanics, we have chosen MRRC, that chassis gives it a noble performance on the tracks even being a product of nature collector and be served in a transparent box with an elegant look.
Production is limited to 300 numbered units and is already available.
You all know that a handmade product of this type is expensive due precisely to its manual character and laborious and slow development and manufacturing processes, however in Modelant have worked to get a final price that is below the average of other products of similar characteristics. In our website you will find the final price of the Auto Avio and the instructions to buy it:

Hoping that you like it, king regards.
